Reformer is one of the most renowned Pilates equipment. This is a very sophisticated machine, it uses a system of springs, straps and pulleys for the workout.
The crux is in the gliding platform on which one can sit, kneel, stand or lie on their front, back or side. The user pushes and pulls off the foot bar using the arms, legs, wrists and ankles to slide back and forth along the rails in a controlled manner while the tension in the springs gently works the muscles. SpringBoard
SpringBoard is one of the newest Pilates equipment. The springboard is different from the other Pilates equipments because it is fixed to the wall instead of lying on the floor. Due to this feature it doesn't demand big space; it can be even used at home. It allows its user to efficiently isolate muscle groups and to achieve a deeper core engagement than is possible with traditional Pilates mat exercises. The system of springs attached to the Springboard provides the resistance necessary to build muscular strength and flexibility in the user.
